Experience an unforgettable journey to Wae Rebo, a traditional Manggaraian village nestled in a remote mountainous area.
This 2-day 1-night tour offers a rare opportunity to experience authentic village life, local wisdom, and ancestral traditions that have been preserved for generations.
Visitors can enjoy a unique overnight stay inside the traditional Mbaru Niang houses, connect with the local community, and immerse themselves in one of Indonesia's most beautiful and culturally rich villages.
The program includes a scenic road trip from Labuan Bajo, an adventurous trek through lush valley landscapes to the peak, a welcoming cultural ceremony, and a visit to the famous Lembor Spider Web Rice Fields on the way back
07:30 - 08:30 AM: The road trip starts at local time.
Travel: Travel by car from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village takes about 4-5 hours.
Lunch & Prep: Lunch is provided during the road trip, followed by preparations for trekking to Wae Rebo Cultural Village.
Trekking: The trek will take approximately 2-3 hours (depending on body condition and endurance) from Denge (valley) to the peak (Wae Rebo Village). It is strongly recommended that participants are in good physical condition.
Arrival & Welcome: Upon arrival at the village, participants will be treated to a welcoming ceremony at the head’s house, followed by observing and experiencing the daily life of the local community.
Rest: Dinner and overnight stay at Mbaru Niang (traditional Wae Rebo cone-shaped house with unique architecture)
Morning: Breakfast with the local people.
Exploration: Explore the village.
Trek Down: Trek down from Wae Rebo to Denge, followed by lunch.
Sights: Visit Lembor Spider Web Rice Fields.
Return: Return to Labuan Bajo
