Overland Flores 5 Days 4 Nights

Morning (08:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Pick-up from your hotel or airport in Labuan Bajo. Depart east towards Wae Lolos Eco-Tourism Village to visit Cunca Plias Waterfall. Enjoy a short nature trek through tropical forests and refresh with a dip in its natural stone infinity pools.  Lunch (12:30 PM – 01:30 PM): Local lunch in Lembor, surrounded by sprawling green rice paddies.   Afternoon (02:00 PM – 05:30 PM): Continue driving toward Cancar to witness the famous Spider Web Rice Fields (Lingko Cara). Climb the small viewpoint hill to see the unique, traditional Manggarai agricultural division pattern from above.   Evening (06:00 PM onwards): Arrive in the cool mountain town of Ruteng. Check into your hotel, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.   Overnight: Hotel in Ruteng.

Morning (08:00 AM – 11:30 AM): Breakfast and check-out. Drive towards East Manggarai and stop at Mano for an agriculture tour, taking in the sweeping views of undulating terraced rice fields and local farmland.   Midday (12:00 PM – 01:30 PM): Stop at the serene Rana Mese Lake, a crater lake surrounded by dense rainforest, for photos and lunch nearby.  

Afternoon (02:00 PM – 04:30 PM): Drive towards the coast and stop at Aimere, the heart of traditional arak (local alcohol) distillation. Learn how locals extract sap from Lontar palms and distill it using traditional bamboo pipes. Evening (05:00 PM onwards): Ascend the highland plateau of Bajawa. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a warm local dinner. Overnight: Hotel in Bajawa.

Morning (05:30 AM – 09:30 AM): Early departure to Avatar Hill (Watu Nari Wowo). Hike up to catch the morning mist and panoramic views of rolling savanna ridges and Mount Inerie. Return to the hotel for breakfast and rest. Midday (11:00 AM – 01:30 PM): Visit Bena Traditional Village, a megalithic cultural site of the Ngada people, featuring ancient thatched-roof houses, stone shrines, and local hand-woven ikat textiles. Have lunch nearby.   Afternoon (02:30 PM – 05:00 PM): Unwind at Malanage Hot Springs, where hot volcanic river water mixes with a cool mountain stream, creating a natural thermal bath. Evening (06:00 PM onwards): Head back to Bajawa town for dinner and relaxation. Overnight: Hotel in Bajawa. 

Morning (08:00 AM – 11:30 AM): Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Soa Mengeruda Hot Springs to soak in the therapeutic, warm volcanic waters surrounded by greenery.   Lunch & Early Afternoon (12:30 PM – 03:00 PM): Drive down to the coastal town of Ende and stop at Blue Stone Beach (Penggajawa Beach). Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch right by the shore while admiring the unique turquoise and blue pebbles line the beach. Late Afternoon (03:30 PM – 05:30 PM): Drive scenic winding mountain roads up toward the foot of Mount Kelimutu. Evening (06:00 PM onwards): Arrive in Moni village. Check into your eco-lodge or hotel and have an early dinner to prepare for the early morning hike. Overnight: Hotel / Lodge in Moni.

Early Morning (04:00 AM – 07:30 AM): Wake up early for the sunrise excursion to Kelimutu National Park. A short 15–20-minute walk leads to the viewing summit at 1,690 meters above sea level. Watch the sunrise over the three color-shifting volcanic crater lakes.   Morning (08:30 AM – 11:00 AM): Return to Moni for breakfast, shower, and hotel check-out. Midday (11:30 AM – 02:00 PM): Drive down to Ende. Stop at historic sites (such as the Bung Karno Exile House) or enjoy lunch in town. Afternoon: Drop-off at Ende Airport (ENE) or your hotel in Ende. Tour concludes.
